Best practices for eating out during COVID-19

  • When possible order takeout, delivery, or
curbside pickup.
  • If eating outside, maintain 6 feet of distance from other diners.
  • Check to see if the restaurant staff is wearing masks that cover their nose and mouths.
  • Wash or sanitize your hands before you eat.
  • When not eating, wear a mask.
  • Don’t use self-serve beverages, utensils, or condiments.
  • If using a public restroom, thoroughly wash hands after opening and closing the stall. Use a paper towel to open and close the bathroom door to create a “touchless” bathroom experience.
  • Don’t congregate when waiting to be seated or while waiting for the restroom.
  • Choose contactless payment options when applicable.
